Rescuers freed a Boeing worker who became trapped under the wheels of Boeing 787 at Paine Field in Everett on Friday night.

Images from Chopper 7 showed rescue workers crowded around the right-wing landing gear of a Japan Airlines 787. Rescuers freed the man just after 6:30 p.m. by using an industrial jack to lift the plane. He was then loaded onto a backboard and brought to a waiting ambulance.

According to the Paine Field Fire Department, the man stayed alert throughout the rescue, and he was flown to Harborview Medical Center.

The Federal Aviation Administration said a Boeing worker was helping to tow the plane when the incident occurred and trapped the man. The plane did not appear to have an engine installed under its right wing.

Late Friday, HMC issued a statement that the worker was treated for serious injuries and in stable condition.

Before 11 p.m., investigators moved the plane from the scene.

As of Saturday morning, HMC and Boeing have not released the name of the man.

Boeing released the following statement on the incident:

At approximately 6 p.m. an industrial accident occurred at the Everett site involving a Boeing employee.
Boeing's emergency medical team responded and administered aid until the local paramedics arrived. The individual was then transported to Harborview Medical for further treatment.
Out of respect for the employee and his family, we are not providing the name of the employee or information on his condition or injuries. Also, we will not speculate on the cause or circumstances around the incident until a full investigation has been conducted.
Beyond this, we have no further comment. Our deepest concern and focus right now is for the welfare of the injured employee and his family. We are in contact with them and are offering whatever assistance they may need.
Boeing cares about the safety and well being of all the employees who work at our sites. We will investigate the cause of this incident and will implement the necessary changes to avoid a future reoccurrence.

¿Y en las noticias no dijeron ''Un boeing a340'' o algo similar?¿O "un boeing de la compañía dreamliner"? ¿Esta vez se informaron de verdad? :O

Joder, mal asunto, en el suelo se ve un materal que me hace pensar lo peor, espero que no! Que se recupere pronto el herido!!

Según el video entiendo que se estaba remolcando el avión y que quedo atrapado durante media hora por las piernas y la parte inferior del cuerpo.

Descartado pues el movimiento accidental, mas raro aún que se atropelle a alguien lejos de plataforma o hangar...

Si, ademas, parece que a la izquierda se ve parte del ''Lucas'', una maquina que se usa en pacientes en PCR (Parada Cardio-Respiratoria), no estoy del todo seguro que lo sea pero tiene la pinta, sea lo que sea, tiene mala pinta!

No creo, el avión estaba sin motores y con varias zonas a medio montar.
